My lecturer for Figure Drawing has his own website. =)
I forgot all about the the gesture drawings I did at the drawing workshop during AAU’s Fall ’09 orientation in August, before the the actual classes began.
I’m posting a few of them here for reference’s sake. This coming semester I will be taking a Figure Drawing class, and I hope there will be significant improvement the next time I post another “gesture drawing” entry.
Came across a couple of neat illustrations by Le Thanh Tung, a Vietnamese graphic designer, while I was browsing google for punk patterns (don’t ask).

Pretty cool eh? =)

So, my first semester at AAU went by pretty well, and for that I thank God. =)
I took four classes, namely Analysis of Form (charcoal drawing), Computer Animation Production (After Effects and Maya), Experimental Animation (stop motion) and Visual Cinematic Storytelling (film and photography).
The previous two entries are compilations of some of my assignments from Analysis of Form and Experimental Animation. It was tedious work, but I really had fun in the process, and I hope to keep on improving!
Currently I’m back in Singapore for the winter holidays. I will be returning to San Francisco at the end of next month for my second semester. Looking forward to it! =D
Browse “free works” in the gallery section of Enakei and look for her Catwalk series.
I really like this style of drawing. Simple, dynamic strokes. :D

Drea says it’s very “fashion design”!
Long showed me this:
Retardacy beyond words.
In case it hasn’t already occured to you, this is probably going to be the type of blog that lags with an overload of youtube clips. Mostly relevant to my line of work though.
And yes, this clip is somewhat relevant.
