I really like this style of drawing. Simple, dynamic strokes. :D

Drea says it’s very “fashion design”!

Retardacy beyond words.
In case it hasn’t already occured to you, this is probably going to be the type of blog that lags with an overload of youtube clips. Mostly relevant to my line of work though.
And yes, this clip is somewhat relevant.
2008 Demoreel
•December 26, 2008 • 3 CommentsDecided to upload my very first demoreel and 2D rice sack animation on youtube, since my domain has expired and I still haven’t renewed it yet.
Hope to make much more improvements in the future!
Work has been a constant blur of rushing for me ever since I came back from Australia. So many scripts to storyboard, so little time. Had to sacrifice my Christmas holiday to meet the end-of-month deadline. :(
But oh well, at least I’m done now… I hope… looking forward to the new year!
Dissidia: Final Fantasy
•December 23, 2008 • 1 CommentI don’t play the game, but I think the trailer is awesome.
This is a mirrored version (according to the uploader, youtube rejected the original video):
Strange… I once heard that good guys come in from the right, and bad guys from the left. But that’s not the case for this one!
Howling At The Moon
•August 30, 2008 • Leave a CommentWALL-E was breathtaking. Flawless animation, beautiful rendering. Story wise, it’s really sweet and brings across a strong message. Well done, especially for a film without much dialogue.
Plus it was set in the future and in space! Two of my faves. :P
The short film at the start was also awesome. Whatever the amount of stars WALL-E was given, they should add an extra one just for Presto itself. Totally, 100%, pure pwnage animation.
I must get the DVD when it comes out.
Recently, my seemingly micro-mini OCD issues have begun to take an increasingly big toll on the amount of time I take to draw storyboards. Instead of getting faster with practice, I feel like I’m steadily slowing down.
Why is it I can’t seem to channel this urgency for neatness towards something else in my life that needs it more? E.g. cleaning up my room…
Oh well, the SC will be going for the Grand Opening Party of Howl At The Moon on the 3rd of Sept instead of the 4th. Can’t wait! :)
